How to Register

By Mail:
Players may register by filling out the registration forms and mailing them to the address below by June 4, 2011. New players must register in person as outlined below.

In Person:
Any new players wishing to register may do so at Beachburg, Cobden or Westmeath arenas on June 4, 2011 between the hours of 10:00am and 12:00noon. Registration forms from existing players may also be delivered at this time if they haven't already been sent by mail.

Subject to the number of participants registered, participants are not guaranteed a position on a team within their local house league division.

Register Early!

Early registration is essential to enable the MMHA executive to make informed decisions regarding teams formation and ice allocation before the beginning of the new hockey season. District 5 has ruled that competitive teams need to be scheduled by mid-September, and house league teams by early October. If we don't meet these requirements we will be fined $100 per day, to a maximum of $500 per team.

fees

The fees for the 2011 - 2012 season are outlined below. Included in these fees is a per player cost which covers the annual amount to place a player on a team and their share of administrative costs. Expenses include ice time, player insurance, team fee, bench insurance, tournament sanction fees, game sheets, referee clinics, office supplies and advertising, clinics etc.

Full payment of the registration fee as set out in the registration forms is required at the time of registration. Players will not be placed on a team list until both registration form and payment have been received. There cannot be any exceptions to this. No player will be allowed to participate in any tryout, practice or game until complete registration fee has been paid in full. If financial arrangements are required please register and contact the MMHA. Anyone registering after the June 4, 2011 deadline will be charged a late fee of $50.

Cheques must be post-dated no later than September 1, 2011 and made payable to - Muskrat Minor Hockey Association (MMHA). Post-dated cheques must be provided at the time of registration.

Parents must provide a copy of their child's birth certificate for registration. Proof of residence may be requested. We are expected to have a copy of each player's birth certificate on file.
